Applied AI

We help organisations adopt AI: automating workflows, raising productivity and getting more from their data, with the training and embedded engineers to make it last.

How we work

Our approach

  1. 01

    Discover

We agree the decision or task to improve, and check you have the data to do it.

  2. 02

    Prove

We build a working version on your own data, usually within a few weeks, so you can judge it before investing more.

  3. 03

    Build

We connect it to your systems, test it, and add controls, including human review where mistakes would be costly.

  4. 04

    Run

We monitor quality and cost after launch, and improve or retire the model as your needs change.

Common questions

We have never used AI. Where do we start?

With an assessment of where your people spend time on repetitive work or wait on information. We rank the opportunities by value and readiness, and start with the one that pays back fastest.

Our team has no AI experience. Can we still adopt it?

Yes. That is the most common starting point we see. We train your staff in safe, everyday use, and place forward deployed engineers in your team to build alongside them until they can run things themselves.

What is a forward deployed engineer?

An engineer from our team who works inside your organisation for the length of the engagement, building and fixing things where the work happens, and handing over the skills as they go.

Where should we start with AI?

With one task where faster or better decisions are clearly worth money or time, and where you already hold the data. We help you pick it, then prove it on your own data before you commit to more.

Is AI always the right answer?

No. Many problems are solved better by cleaner data, a simpler workflow or ordinary software. If that is the case, we will tell you, and recommend that instead.

Can our data stay in our country?

Yes. We can host models and data on infrastructure in your country that you control, and design access, logging and retention around local law, such as Nigeria's Data Protection Act or the EU's GDPR.
